2022 Value-Added Dairy Business Innovation Grants Now Available!

The 2022 round of producer grants for the Southeast Dairy Business Innovation Initiative (SDBII) is now open!  Information about the program as well as the 2022 application is available now; completed applications are due by 5pm on November 1, 2022.

SDBII offers grants focused on value-added dairy businesses in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and Puerto Rico.  The following conditions must be met to be eligible to apply for funding through the Southeast Dairy Business Innovation Initiatives program:
  • Project will diversify dairy product markets to reduce risk and develop higher value uses for dairy products;
  • Project will promote business development that diversifies farmer income through processing and marketing innovation; and
  • Project will encourage the use of regional milk production.
