The 2025 application period for the Southeast Dairy Business Innovation Initiative (SDBII)’s Specialty Processing Equipment Grant is now open!
The Specialty Processing Equipment Grant provides reimbursement funds to undertake projects that result in increased efficiency, capacity, or new processing capabilities in an existing or proposed dairy processing facility.
The Specialty Processing Equipment Grant application period will close on September 24th at 5 PM Eastern Time. Eligible licensed dairy businesses from AL, AR, FL, GA, KY, LA, MS, NC, SC, TN, WV, and Puerto Rico are encouraged to apply. See flyer for additional details.Specialty Processing Equipment Grant
Funding Goals Include:
- Diversify dairy product markets to reduce risk and develop higher value uses for dairy products
- Promote business development that increases farmer income through processing & marketing innovation
- Encourage the use of regional milk supply
- Value chain and commodity innovation and facility and process updates for dairy processors
- Product development, packaging, and marketing of dairy products
2025 Application Period is open until September 24, 2025 at 5:00 PM ET
Licensed dairy businesses based in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, or Puerto Rico are eligible to apply.
