Interested in learning how to artificially inseminate cattle? Come to either one of these one day workshops and you will learn how! In the morning classroom portion you will learn about Cattle Reproductive Anatomy & Physiology, AI Procedure and Technique, AI Equipment and Maintenance, Semen Handling and Synchronization Protocols. Then in the afternoon you will get to put what you have learned into practice on live cows and reproductive tracts! A certificate of completion will be awarded to each person who attends either workshop.
June 3, 2022 - We will start at the N.C. Cooperative Extension – Iredell County Center, 444 Bristol Dr, Statesville, NC 28677, for a morning classroom portion. We will break for lunch, which will be provided, and then end at Grayhouse Dairy Farm for the hands-on portion. The cost is $40 per person and admission is limited so don't wait to register!
