Direct farm marketers and value-added agriculture entrepreneurs interested in learning more about developing effective marketing strategies are invited to participate in one of two “Developing Your Value-Added Marketing Strategy” workshops that will be held across North Carolina in Raleigh on October 16th and in Canton on October 17th.

Discussions about market drivers, identifying and understanding your target audience, and developing your brand will be led by Sarah Cornelisse, Senior Extension Associate with Penn State University. Participants will be invited to participate in a sensory analysis activity using cheese products as an example to help drive home important marketing concepts.
